Debra Ann Summers's Obituary

Debbie Ann Summers, 64, passed away October 1, 2017. She was born August 2, 1953, to Connie Child and Dick Tomney in Ogden, Utah. Debbie attended Elko High School. She married Carl Summers in Ogden, Utah, over 20 years ago. Our sister, mother, grandmother, and friend enjoyed fishing, camping, thrift shopping, and crafting. She loved being called Super G-ma to all her grandkids. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She spent most of her time donating clothing and toys to the less fortunate, making baked goods to hand out to all. We all looked forward to that. She enjoyed cooking for anyone and everyone. She has passed down this skill to all her children as well as her gardening skills. No matter what we went through, she always made sure we were taken care of. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart and couldnt wait to teach them to say Horsh chit. Our mother was a Jane of all trades truck driving, interior decorating, remodeling business, sewing, and a chef. Our Favorite recipe was published in the Betty Crocker Cookbook. She was a free spirit and there was nothing she couldnt accomplish. We would like to personally thank Canyon Home Health and Hospice for taking great care of our mother. A special thanks to Stephanie and Laney, nurses. Debbie is survived by her husband, Carl; her brothers, Pat, Rick, Roger, Cory, and Guy; her sisters, Tammy, Cindy, Kim, Wendy, and Amy; her children, Becky Turner, Karen (Rocky), Robyn (Dan), Tiffany (Richard), Laura (Bryan), Jacob (Jennifer) and Jesse (Jenae); 36 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
