Kaysville-Deidre Jan McGavin Poen Frank Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, passed away from lung cancer at age 63 on November 16, 2012, surrounded by her family.Deidre was born August 30, 1949, to L. Keith and Ida M. McGavin in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She married and divorced three times. She had two sons with her first husband. Deidres highest priority in life was her family. She was so proud of her sons Eric and James. She loved her daughter-in-laws dearly. She loved spending time with her beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also very devoted to her sisters and brothers and spent countless hours with them. Deidre was full of compassion and gratitude. She had a contagious laugh and a great sense of humor. She was a great cook, a very talented homemaker and she loved to dance. Most of all she loved family get gatherings, especially barbeques! She is survived by her two sons, Eric J. (Jamie) Poen, Sunset, James L. Poen (Kris Puls), Layton, sisters, Jill Lythgoe, Layton, Terri McGavin, Layton, five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Keith and Ida McGavin and two brothers Chad and Greg McGavin. A graveside service and interment will be held in the spring on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th. St., Ogden, Utah.
