Del Beck (Grumpy) passed away from cancer on July 22, 2017, at the age of 74 with his family by his side. He was born in Ogden, Utah, son of Delbert and Elaine Andros Beck. He was a graduate of Ben Lomond High School. He then served in the Army. He worked at Hill Air Force Base for 42 years. He married Sandra Shupe and had two children, Stacie E Beck and Michael D. Beck. They later divorced. On September 24, 1986, he married Fonda N Roundy, adding four more children to the family, Brandon Roundy (Kim), Tina Parkinson, Aaron Hammer, and Todd Hammer. Del loved camping with friends and family at La Platte, also fishing, golfing, bowling and darts. Del is survived by his brothers, Douglas L Beck (Lisa) and Gary Beck (Michelle); sister, Judy Verbeck (John); 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, ex-wife Sandra and grandson Trevor. He will be remembered for his quick wit and big heart! He will truly be missed! Leavitts Mortuary will be taking care of him. He had asked to be cremated and not have services. We will be celebrating his life at Ogden Eagles on August 6, 2017, @ 5 pm.
