Obituary

Delia Melendrez was called home on June 16, 2023. She was born in Levoll, Wyoming to Nicolasa and Victoriano Melendrez on September 9, 1950. Her joys in life were cooking, music, singing and Bingo. She was a housewife and raised many siblings and anyone who needed love and support she had the doors to her home opened to those who need help, she had a Big Heart. She is survived by her 4 sons Juan Jose, Nicolas, Francisco, Juan Manuel. 5 daughters, Bella Sanchez, Blanca Mendoza, Maribel Melendrez, Ana Tinoco, Irma Melendrez. 7 sisters, 1 brother, 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Delia loved and lived life to the fullest and yes, she had a big heart but was also a tough cookie, she will be greatly missed but in all of our hearts forever. She was preceded in the death by 3 brothers, her ex-husband, 2 sisters, nieces and nephews and her parents. She will finally be reunited with her baby boy Pedro who we all know she loved and missed dearly! There will be a Rosary at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St, Ogden, UT from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday 22, 2023 and Mass at St. Josephs Church at 10:00am Friday 23, 2023.
