Del was born on August 2, 1949, in Petaluma California, first born to Charles and Doris Cunningham.

He became a Truck driver, and this would take him all over the USA in all kinds of weather meeting many people, he loved driving.

Del lived in Brigham City, Utah and passed away from lung cancer on February 25, 2024. He passed peacefully in his home with his friend Penny by his side.

He is survived by his daughter Tina Marie and grandson Anthony, stepsons Robert and Phillip Wingfield, step granddaughter Trinity, siblings Cyndi Cunningham, Bonnie Smith (Ken) and Fred Cunningham along with several nieces and nephews.
