De Schoss, 91, passed away peacefully at her home on October 27, 2013. She was the eldest daughter born to Henry and Ella Mecham Fox on April 2, 1922 in Paris, ID. She entered Nurses Training in 1940 at Thomas D. Dee Memorial Hospital in Ogden, UT and graduated in 1943. She married Albert F. Mohr on July 28, 1944 and they later divorced. She later married Loren T. Schoss on May 31, 1968. Her first job was at the Italian Prisoner of War Hospital at Utah General Depot in Ogden, UT. She later worked as an Industrial Nurse at the first aid station at Ogden Arsenal, and also Sperry Rand, Boeing and Marquardt Corporations. She was preceded in death by her husband Loren, and one son, Keith Russell Mohr. Surviving are two sisters, Ruth Hill and Arda Leavitt and children: A. Gerald (Jerry) and Sandra Mohr, Janice Carol Mohr High and Gary, and one step-daughter, Donna Hall, 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She loved to crochet, knit and tole paint. All of her children, granchildren, great-grandchildren, friends, hospitals and senior centers received many of her beautiful handmade items lovingly crafted by Grandma. Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
