Diane Elizabeth Millspaw was born January 17, 1943, in Ogden, Utah to Charles Jr. and Elizabeth "Betty" Millspaw. She passed away at age 81 on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Avamere Assisted Living in South Ogden, Utah.

Diane was the oldest child and was raised by her parents in Ogden, Utah and had two sisters and two brothers. She attended school in the Ogden School District and in the Utah Schools for the Deaf and Blind, and later graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1963. She learned sign language and made many long-lasting friendships in the deaf community.

Diane was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in various callings over the years and served in the Ogden Temple. Diane worked at Hill Air Force Base for 40 years as a supply technician.

She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and had many close associations with neighbors in the Monta Vista Park.

Diane enjoyed spending time with her friends on multiple cruises. She also square danced for years, which she learned from her parents. She loved her pet cats and dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bruce, brother-in-law William Griffin.

She is survived by her siblings: Brent Millspaw (St. George), Suzanne Griffin (Ogden), Mary (Dale) Cottrell (Clearfield), sister-in- law Laura Sargent (Ryan) (Ogden), and many nieces and nephews.

The family expresses appreciation to the staff at the Avamere facility for their care for Diane over the last two years.

The Family will meet friends and a prayer will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 9:45-10:45. Graveside will follow the same day at 11 AM at Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park in Ogden, Utah.

Upon her request, there will be no public viewing or funeral services.
