Dolores Joy Christy George Dopp died July 27, 2013 at McKay-Dee Hospital. She was born June 6, 1937 in Long Beach, CA the daughter of Alexander and Helen Joy Christy. Dolores moved to Ogden in 1949 and spent the majority of her life here. She attended Ogden High School, Stevens Henegar College and Weber State College. She was married to Robert George whom she later divorced. She then married Farrell Max Dopp who died in 1995. She worked as a Food Services Manager in nursing homes, a piece worker at Catalina and at Shopko. She retired from Ogden Regional Medical Center where she was a Medical Records Auditor and the Birth Certificate Registrar. She moved to Las Vegas, but came home to finish her fight with cancer. Surviving are brothers, Fred (Randy Rissler) Christy, CA; Barry (Betty) Christy, PA; children James (Nancy) Kazar, CA; Steven George, Ogden; Michael (Imelda) George, Las Vegas; Mary George & Rose Hughes, Ogden; and Ruth (Robert) Coleman, Roy; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will be held for family and friends on Thursday, August 1st from 6 to 8 p.m. at Leavitts Waterfall Atrium, 836 36th St., Ogden. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 2nd at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden.
