We are celebrating the departure of our loving Mom and Grandma, Dolores Sowerby Oliver, who has left us to go home to her personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 15, 2014. Dolores was born in Ogden, UT on March 17, 1928 to Thomas and Eunice Sowerby. She graduated Ogden High and married Robert Vandenberg and later divorced. They have five children together and spent many of their early years in the Ogden/Bountiful area. Dee retired from Davis County Mental Health Services in 1997 and moved to Price, Utah. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and sister. She is survived by her five children: Karen (Dave) Mingo of Gervais, OR; Dirk (Chris) Vandenberg, Sandy, UT; Tom (Barb) Vandenberg, Ogden, UT; Kim (Steve) Martinez, Price, UT; Karlene (Nestor) Zuluaga, Buford, GA. Fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Celebration of her Life will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2014 with a viewing from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.at Leavitts Mortuary 836 36th Street, Ogden, UT.
