Judy and Don Hunter Reunited after just 2 Days Judy Susan Hunter, 68, passed away June 26, 2013 in Ogden, UT. Judy was born May 17, 1945 in Ogden, Utah to James George Holliday and Fern Laura Hanson. She graduated from Ogden High School. She worked at DDO and RC Willeys and made many lasting friendships there. Don Forest Hunter died 28 Jun 2013 of a broken heart from losing his sweetheart just days before. Don was born in Granite Utah, on 5 Jun 1937. The family moved to Ogden about 1940/41. He grew up in Washington Terrace and attended Weber County Schools. Upon graduating from Weber High School, he joined the army, during the Korean conflict where he served in Japan. On Jan. 4, 1992 in Ogden, Don and Judy were married and the marriage was later solemnized in the Bountiful Temple on June 12, 2013. Judy and Don are survived by two daughters, Kim Whaley (Paul) Montoya, Kari (Darrell) Shoemaker; son, (BJ) Brian Henry; three granddaughters, one grandson and two great grandsons. Judy is survived two brothers, Jim (Ginger) Holliday and Mike (Roxanne) Holliday; Don is survived by brothers Theron R. Hunter, and James Albert Hunter of Ogden, and sister Lorraine Evans of Washington. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; a niece, Megan Holliday; stepfather, Marvin Ure and a aunt, Iretta Kliwer. Don was preceded in death by his mother and father, and sisters Inez and Rolene. Funeral Services will be held for both Judy and Don at Leavitts Mortuary 836 36th Street in Ogden on Monday July 1, 2013, 11:00 A.M. Friends may meet with the family prior to the services 9:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M.
