Don Rasmussen died on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at his home in South Ogden. Dad was born in Mount Pleasant, Utah on March 8, 1923, to Farrell and Carrie Rasmussen. He married Clara Novak, January 6, 1943, in Elko, Nevada. He served in the Army in the South Pacific during WWII.Gramps had been employed at Swifts for 20 years and at Weber State College for 15 years. Gramps is survived by his wife of 69 years, Clara, daughter and son-in-law, Dona and Dennis Bitton, 3 grandchildren, Kevin (Shelly) Bitton, Shelly Bramwell, Donelle (Dean) Ricketts, 7 much loved great grandchildren and 2 much loved great-great grandchildren. Dad was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister. At Gramps request, there will be no viewing or services. Cremation is being taken care of by Leavitts Mortuary.
