Obituary

Donald A. Frahm, a cherished husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, at the age of 82, in Ogden, Utah. Born on November 22, 1942, in Huron, South Dakota, Donald's life was marked by dedication, passion, and a warm, engaging spirit that left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Donald's journey began in the heart of South Dakota, where the values of hard work and family were instilled in him from a young age. These principles guided him throughout his life and were evident in the love and commitment he showed to his family and his work. For 30 years, Donald was a respected employee at American Nutrition, where his diligence and integrity earned him the admiration of his colleagues and the broader community.

Beyond his professional life, Donald was known for his love of cars, especially old models, which he would eagerly restore and showcase. His passion for automobiles was a frequent topic of conversation, and his presence at car shows was as reliable as the vehicles he adored. Donald's enthusiasm for the automotive world was infectious, and he was always ready to share stories of his latest project or the history behind a classic car.

Another of Donald's great joys was attending the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) and Professional Bull Riders (PBR) finals in Las Vegas. These events were not just pastimes but a testament to Donald's appreciation for the skill and tradition of rodeo. His eyes would light up as he recounted the thrilling performances and the camaraderie shared with fellow fans.

Donald's legacy is carried on by his beloved wife of many years, June, and his children Shiela (Jan), Craig (Cindy), Heidi, Danielle (Chris), and Nani. He was a guiding light in their lives, and his wisdom and humor will be deeply missed. Donald also leaves behind his brothers, Duane Frahm and Dale Hofmann, who will remember him as a steadfast sibling and friend. His 27 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren will continue to be inspired by the stories of their grandfather's life and the lessons he taught through his actions and words.

As we bid farewell to Donald, we reflect on a life well-lived—a life full of passion, dedication, and love. His impact on the world around him was significant, and the memories he created will be treasured by his family and friends forever. Donald A. Frahm's story is one of a journey well-traveled, and though he will be dearly missed, his spirit will continue to guide us in the years to come.
