Our beautiful Mom and Gagam, Donna W. Thomas, 70, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2015. She was born April 18, 1944 to Donald and Dorothy Wilson in Joliet, IL. She graduated from Riverside Hospital School of Nursing in Newport News, VA in 1965, beginning her lifetime service of caring for others. She married Richard R. Thomas on August 5, 1972. They started their family in Virginia and in 1976 they moved to Pocatello, ID then Ogden, UT raising five children together. She put her career on hold to raise her family. In 1997 they moved back to Pocatello, ID. Her nursing skills and compassion continued later in life as she worked in home health care until she retired in 2012. Upon retiring she moved back to Utah to be with closer to her grandchildren. She was a member of theCongregational United Church of Christ. Donna is survived by four daughters and one son, Michelle(Brad) Smith, Jacki (Keith) Moran, Stephanie (Jefrey) Hayes, Amber (Jeffrey) Mafi, and Matthew Thomas. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two grandchildren Kennedy and Zachary Moran. Memorial services will be held Monday, March 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Congregational United Church of Christ, 3350 Harrison Blvd, Ogden, UT. Friends may call upon family one hour prior to service.
