Donna Lou Wildermuth Ogden-Donna Lou Wildermuth, 77, died peacefully October 6, 2011 surrounded by her family after her fourth battle with cancer. Donna was born on January 29, 1934 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, a daughter of Leo L. and Bessie Wildermuth. She moved to Ogden in 1950 with her family and graduated from Ogden High School. She worked for the Ogden Union Railway and Depot Company and Union Pacific Railroad Company. Her job moved her to St. Louis, MO. in 1989 and she worked there until 1992, when she retired. She belonged to the following: National Association of Railway Business Women, Lifetime Member of Union Pacific Old Timers Club #6 (now Union Pacific Employees Club #6), Ladies of the Railroad Auxiliary and Lifetime member of the St. Louis Old Timers. Donna loved to golf and bowl. She belonged to Ben Lomond and El Monte Ladies Golf Association for years. She was also a semi-pro bowler for a number of years and belonged to three different bowling leagues in Ogden and was a member of the Womens International Bowling Association. She loved to go to Weber State basketball games and Ogden Raptor games. She loved animals and was very generous by donating to many organizations to protect and help animals. During the past few years she enjoyed attending activities at the Golden Hours Center. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ogden. She was also a member of Queen Esther Chapter #4 Order of Eastern Star of Ogden. Donna is survived by her brother-in-law, Eugene Lewis; two nieces and their families: Patricia (Larry) Spackman and Annette (David) Barron. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert; sisters, Wilma Wildermuth and Leola Anne Lewis and nephew, David Lewis. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 14, at the Ogden Area First United Methodist Church, 1339 W. 400 N. Marriott-Slatterville with Rev. Alane Currier Griggs officiating. Family will greet friends at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Friday morning at the church. Graveside services will be held at the Rock Springs Cemetery in Rock Springs, WY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church, 1339 W. 400 N. Marriott-Slatterville 84404 or UPEC Friend to Friend, 303 Picketwicket, Conway, AR. 72034 or the Charity of your choice. Donnas family would like to thank the staff at Crestwood Care Center for the love and care they gave her, also to Applegate Hospice for their support during the last week. They would also like to thank her neighbors, Dr. Mrs. Hyde for everything they have done for Donna over the years, no one could ask for better neighbors.
