Dorothy Chatland Foulger, age 96, passed away, November 27, 2016 in Ogden, Utah of causes incident to age.She was born November 6, 1920 to Austin William and Maretta Greenwell Chatland in Ogden. Dorothy graduated from Ogden High School in 1938. She married Grant Arthur Foulger, on January 11, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple after faithfully waiting for his return from service in the Army in England during WWII. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings throughout her life. She was a loving mother and a devoted wife. She worked for many years at Herrick Industrial Supply Co. in Ogden with her husband. Dorothy is survived by daughters, Gayle (David) Tensmeyer, Barbara (Douglas) Thomas; son, Arthur Chatland (Jackie) Foulger; sister-in-law, Clara (Fred) Foulger; nine grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. She was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and sister, Lavon C. Higginson. The family would like to thank the loving care provided by Brighton Hospice and Mount Ogden Health and Rehab Center, where she lived for the last four years. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at LeavittsMortuary, 836 36th, Street, Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Interment at Ogden City Cemetery.
