Dorothy "Dotti" Wilkerson (Duke), age 78, of Ogden, Utah was called home to her Father in Heaven's arms during the fanfare of fireworks and a sky full of lightning on Utah Pioneer Day, July 24th. 2023. She passed away in her home, surrounded by family just as she had always hoped.
Dorothy Diane Duke was born on March 12th, 1945, to Alice Maxine Duke (Crick) and David H. Duke in Washington State.
Dotti married the love of her life Ronald Wilkerson on June 19th, 1971, in Federal Way, Washington. They were married for 52 years and had 4 children: Ron Wilkerson, Sean Wilkerson, Kimberly Lochridge, and Heidi Henderson
Dotti was a beloved soul by so many. She always did seek those in need to love, support, comfort, feed, shelter, cloth, listen to, or take in, and shower them with love, affection, and acceptance. Her strength, kindness, and compassion were incomparable. Her compassionate spirit always had a kind heart and encouraged everyone that THEY were capable of anything they put their mind to. She will dearly be missed by so many.
She was preceded in death by her mother Alice Maxine Duke and father David H. Duke.
Dotti is survived by her dear husband Ronald Wilkerson, children: Ron W, Sean Wilkerson, Kimberly Lochridge, Heidi Henderson, 12 Grandchildren: Tiffany Wilketson, Erica Wilkerson, Andra (Kassandra) Vltavn, Jonah Williams, Jordan Williams, Officer Kadance Konecny, Josiah Williams, Kayma Konecny, Johan Wilkerson, Lukas Wilkerson, Theo Wilkerson, and Xander W, Siblings: David E. Duke and Martin Duke.
Celebration of Life to be held in Huntsville, Utah at 7365 E 200 South (directly behind Huntsville History Center) on Saturday, July 29th from 5-8pm MDT. Light hors d'oeuvres provided. We ask everyone to come and share stories of their wonderful experiences.
