Dwight Charles Barfuss, 58, passed away August 12, 2011. He was born May 25, 1953 to Gene S. and Hazel Dean Barfuss, in Ogden, Utah. Dwight graduated from Weber High School. He worked at Hill Air Force Base, and loved his friends and co-workers at the 75th LRS.He is survived by the love of his life, Jolene Todd Barfuss, his father Gene Barfuss; two sons: Jacob and Jason Barfuss, three brothers: Greg (Jolene), Barfuss, Wesley (Judy) Barfuss, Jeffery (Chris) Barfuss, one sister: Peggy (Geary) Kiesel and many grandchildren. Dwight was preceded in death by his mother Hazel Dean Barfuss and a son Joseph Barfuss. Services will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Friends may visit the family Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. also at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Golden West Credit Union, in the name of Dwight Barfuss memorial account, to help with medical expenses. Interment at Everygreen Memorial Park.
