Eddie Dean Gallegos, 36, of Ogden, Utah, passed away on April 19, 2025.

Eddie was born on October 3, 1988, in Ogden, Utah, to Suzie Chavez-Lopez. He graduated from Ogden High School in 2007 and went on to study at Weber State University for a short time.

Eddie has one son, Daunte Gallegos, who was the light of his life. He loved spending time outdoors, camping, fishing, and being with friends. Known for being the life of the party and his sense of humor. Eddie had a gift for making people laugh and bringing joy to those around him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved stepfather, Edward Villarreal, whom he loved and admired deeply.

Eddie is survived by his son Daunte; his mother Suzie Chavez-Lopez; his stepfather Roberto Chavez-Lopez; his siblings and their spouses Bobby, Crystal Gallegos; Lita and Breanna Nava; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Services will be held Monday April 28th 5-7 at Leavitt's Mortuary 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.

Eddie chose to live with laughter, love, and loyalty. His light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him. Eddie's vibrant spirit, kind heart, and unforgettable laugh will remain in our hearts forever.
