Eddie Renshaw Wells, passed away at his home in Willard on August 16, 2011. He was born May 4, 1933 in Willard, Utah, the son of Leroy Theodore and Buell Taylor Wells. Eddie graduated from Box Elder High School. He married his high school sweetheart Janet Painter Wells, in South Ogden. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Eddie worked for Coca Cola bottling for 37 years. He also was the owner and operator of Juice Products where he worked for 30 years. Eddie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, baseball and the Utah Jazz, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Eddie is survived by his sons: Craig P. Wells, James E. Wells, both of Willard, his daughter Michelle W. Sawyer, of Washington Terrace, brother Lester Leroy Wells of Syracuse, sister, Berneil Billings, of Layton, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet P. Wells, daughters: Laurie Louise Maccarthy, and Julie Ann Toone and granddaughter Heidi Lee Wells. Services for Eddie will be held at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Family will meet friends Friday, August 19, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services also at the mortuary.
