Edna “Grace” (Myers) Nichols, 76, was called to Heaven 26th of August, 2007. She was born 26th of March, 1931 to Ray Wayne Myers, Sr and Edna Viola Smith in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania. She married Seward D Nichols, Jr on 11th of October, 1956 in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was a loving wife; amazing mother; and devoted daughter and sister. She was raised on a small farm in Pennsburg with her brother “Buddy” (Ray Wayne Myers, Jr.). Moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in late teens and worked in her father’s seafood market. She loved flower gardens, big beautiful trees, and long Sunday drives. Grace played the piano by ear and sang in the church choir. She was a wonderful chef and an arts and crafts enthusiast. She is survived by daughter Penny Arvanitas and son-in-law Woodrow Arvanitas; grandson Jared Arvanitas and great-grandchildren Jayson and Kyleah; grandson Israel Arvanitas with wife Holly and great-grandchildren Lillian and Aiden.

Her ashes will be laid to rest with her loving husband on the 9th of October, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Aultorest Memorial Park. Services will be graveside for family.


Seward D Nichols, Jr. "Nick”, 91, was called to Heaven 1st of October ,2021. He was born 18th of November,1929 to Seward D Nichols Sr and Evelyn Marie Roberts in Oneonta, New York. He married Edna “Grace” Myers on 11th of October,1956 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Nick was a loving father, and a devoted husband. He was raised in the foster system and was finally adopted at the age of 25 to Sidney and Annamae Glowka. He was a USMC Veteran of the Korean War and a survivor of the Frozen Chosin Battle. He was a Drill Instructor at Paris Island. Nick graduated Eckert College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. He was a member of the Masonic Temple and VFW. He was also a High Priest, Scout Leader, and Gospel Doctrine Teacher. Nick loved baseball, bowling and sailing. He is survived by daughter Penny Arvanitas and son-in-law Woodrow Arvanitas; grandson Jared Arvanitas and great-grandchildren Jayson and Kyleah. grandson Israel Arvanitas with wife Holly and great-grandchildren Lillian and Aiden.

His ashes will be laid to rest with his loving wife on the 9th of October 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Aultorest Memorial Park. Services will be graveside for family.
