Our beloved mother and grandmother, Elma Jean Nicholls, 79, of West Point passed away on Friday June 28,2024 peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 16,1945 in Blackfoot ID, to Curtis and Elma Worthen. After graduating from Blackfoot High School, she attended Ricks College before moving to Ogden UT to stay with her aunt.

She married Gary Nicholls (divorced) who she had 4 children with David (Brandy) Nicholls, Brian (Jennifer) Nicholls, Lara (Troy) Martinez and Chad (Tiffany) Nicholls.

Jean was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was devoted to her family and friends. She loved going to the temple with her good friend Myrle. She also loved her lunch dates with friends and family and would do anything for anyone.

She worked for IRS and HAFB for over 20 years before retiring and working for Citi Bank for 15 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David Curtis & Elma Worthen, sister, Jodine Pogge and her baby brother, Blaine.

She is survived by her children David (Brandy) of Syracuse UT, Brian (Jennifer) of Garland UT, Lara (Troy) of West Point UT and Chad (Tiffany) of Marriot Slaterville UT; siblings Lee Wothen of Blackfoot ID, and Sharon Tateoka of Murray UT; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Monday, July 8, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Leavitt's Mortuary 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing held one hour prior to service at Leavitt's Mortuary.

Interment at Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park.
