Ervin LeRoy Cunningham, 83, passed away Dec. 27, 2011 peacefully at home. He is celebrating with his Savior, Jesus Christ, in heaven. He was born July 25, 1928 to Arley H. and Minnie A. Cunningham in Ponca City, OK. He married Patsy J. Harris on March 18, 1951 in Ponca City. Ervin worked as a flour miller for 47 years. In 1952, he was the youngest miller to be admitted into the Assoc. of Operating Millers. He proudly served his country in the army during the Korean War, earning the Natl. Defense Service Medal. He was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was the Financial Secretary for Deep Creek Ranch Assoc. for over 40 years. His passion in life was hunting and fishing with his children and grandchildren. He also loved camping and traveling. Ervin was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother, and sister. Ervin is survived by his wife; two sons, David LeRoy, (Dawn), Vincent Wayne, (Jeanette), and 6 grandchildren. He was guardian for Kim Karas.Funeral arrangements will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 3329 Harrison Blvd., Ogden on Jan. 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Paul.
