Eugene Carden BrannEugene Carden Brann, 84, passed away on April 11, 2011 from Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was born on 9/30/1926 in Kansas City, MO to Richard W. Lucille Carden Brann. Eugene graduated from Ogden High School. He married Shirley May Scott on Nov. 21, 1950. She passed away on April 28, 1997. He was employed at Union Pacific Railroad and the Utah-Idaho Grain Exchange. Eugene served in the Navy during WWII. He loved to ski in the winter and golf in the summertime. More recently he volunteered his services at the Golden Hours Senior Center where he had made many new friends. He is survived by his close companion Joyce Henry, his children Karen (Johnny) Westover, Steven (Rochelle) Brann, Susan (Greg) Woodard and Kris (Greg) Hyde. Also survived by his siblings; Eleanor Barnes, Paul Brann, Noel Brann and David Brann; 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley and brothers Richard W. Morton Brann.Viewing for family and friends will be on Sunday April 17, 2011 from 6-8 pm.
