G. Robert "Bob" Bevan

G. Robert “Bob” Bevan passed away on November 25, 2019.  Bob was born in Ogden, Utah on April 3, 1928 to S.J. and Sarah Bevan.  After graduating from Ogden High School, he enlisted in the Army and was deployed to Korea. After returning from Korea, he attended the University of Utah.

He married Lucy McEachern on May 4, 1956.  Bob spent most of his professional career in the oil and gas business until 1979 when he started his own business.  For Bob, owning his own business was the highlight of his professional life.  After retirement, he and Lucy returned to Ogden where he enjoyed reconnecting with many old friends and family.  In his retirement, he particularly enjoyed many rounds of golf with Lucy and friends.  Bob was a great dad and husband, and warm and loving friend to many.

He is survived by his wife; daughter Leslie (Julie);  son Keith (David); and many nieces, nephews, and greats. He was preceded in death by his parents and his six siblings.

A Service will be held on December 9th at 11:00 am at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 2374 Grant Ave., Ogden, UT, with a reception to follow at Leavitt’s Mortuary Atrium,    836 – 36th Ave., Ogden, UT.

The family would like to thank Lissa, Sandra and the staff of Intermountain Hospice.
