Gail M. Coria

November 25, 1957 — July 15, 2021

Gail M. Coria

Our loving and caring mom and wife, Gail Coria, passed away on July 15, 2021, in her home surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was loved very much. Nana, which is what we called her, was born in Salt Lake City on November 25, 1957, to Federico and Mary Magdalena Cordova.

Nana met the love of her life, Jorge O. Coria, her viejo, at a dance. Despite not speaking the same language, love did its thang. They soon married on October 4, 1975, and started a family.

For those who knew our Nana, knew she had many health issues but despite her struggles, her faith and love in God was much stronger. Nana loved nature, sunsets, flowers and plants. She loved art and was an amazing artist. She was always so cute in creating her designs. She loved music and was such an amazing singer. We could go on and on about her talents, but the bottom line is, Nana was a light to us and also taught us of the light in Christ and she will be greatly missed

Nana was at peace with falling asleep, as we believe she was filled with assurance that soon she will be united with us and Jesus on that glorious day.

Thank you to all who shared your lives with her, those who loved her regardless of her illnesses, who made her feel special, who made her smile and laugh. You were all very special to her.

Nana is survived by her husband Jorge O. Coria, her children, Crystal Coria, Catrina and Hanuar Fernandez, Junior and Jackie Coria, her grandchildren, Cesar Lowrance, Rayna Williams, Juliessa Fernandez, Edgar Jimenez, Julian, Jazlyn, Jaybree Coria, Ulises Fernandez, her great grandchild Adriel Jimenez, her mother, Mary Cordova, her siblings, Kate Cordova, Randy Cordova, Debbie Magee/ Dennis, Ross Cordova/ Robyn, Donna Trujillo/ Leo, Laura Cordova, Tracy Vallejos/ Ted, Kenneth Cordova, Todd Cordova/ Maria and Bobbie Cordova.

Gail is preceded in death by her daughter, Dede, her father, Federico and sisters Shirley and Margaret Cordova.
