Obituary

Garry Rollo Hall, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, peacefully passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on January 26, 1943, to J Rollo and Betty Porter, Garry grew up in a loving family and graduated from Davis High School in 1961.

A man of faith and service, Garry dedicated two years of his life to serving an LDS mission in Fort Worth, Texas, from 1962 to 1964. Professionally, he contributed many years of hard work as a forklift driver for the Defense Depot, retiring in 1995. Not one to stay idle, he later worked at Farr's Ice Cream and Nutraceuticals, building lasting friendships along the way.

Garry's passions extended far beyond his career. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he delighted in watching games on television and cheering at local events, with a steadfast devotion to the Braves and Utah Jazz. As a baseball coach for his four boys, Garry shared his love of the game, leaving behind cherished memories of encouragement and teamwork.

He found joy in the great outdoors, spending countless days camping, fishing, and hunting with his family. Garry especially looked forward to the annual family camping trips to Smithfield Canyon, a tradition filled with laughter, adventure, and togetherness. Another favorite pastime was visiting Wendover and enjoying Keno, where he loved testing his luck. He also enjoyed working in his garden.

Garry married LaRaine Kingsbury in 1964, and though their paths later diverged, they shared the gift of family. In 2000, he found companionship once more and married Leisa Morgan. Following her passing, After Leisa's passing, Garry cherished having his stepson Blake as a roommate, offering him comfort and camaraderie in his later years.

Garry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Leisa Morgan, and his sister and brother-in-law, Gary and LeNaun Swift.

His memory lives on through his four sons—David (Sherrita), Calvin (Becky), Brandan (Crista), and Brady (Mandy)—and his three step-sons—Dustin Bodily, Brady Bodily, and Blake Bodily. He is also lovingly remembered by his ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Atlas Home Healthcare and Heritage Park for their compassionate care and support for Garry during his final days.

Garry will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, family, and devotion will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace.
