Gary Charles Barnes, 47, left this earth surrounded by love with his best friend and brother, Vern at his side. Suffering from liver failure, he was greeted on the other side by his mother and many other loved ones.
Gary was born May 15, 1969 in Ogden, Utah to Robert Duane Barnes and Lael Allen Barnes.
He met and married Cindy Barnes in 1992 in the state of Washington. They had two beautiful sons together, Sean and Tyson, whom he loved dearly. They were later divorced. He met Jenifer Warg, whom he was married to for a brief time. Later on, he met and spent the last few years with the love of his life, Stacey Stark.
Gary was known to many as Gary Fairy. He adored being surrounded by family. He was especially close with his brothers and sister. He was a passionate man, always full of humor and wit. Gary often showed his clumsy yet loveable self that many got to enjoy.
Gary was a large man so he was easily able to put up the tough guy front. Those that knew him knew that it was all an act and he was in fact, a big teddy bear at heart. Gary will be greatly missed by his family and loved ones.
Gary is survived by his sons, Sean and Tyson Barnes; father, Robert (Vickie) Barnes; girlfriend, Stacey Stark and her children; brothers, Vern, Robert and Bryon Barnes; sister, Sheri (Scott) Boekweg-Nelson as well as many nieces, nephews and countless loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lael Jean Allen Barnes; a special niece, Brandi Barker; a loved brother-in-law, Bryan Boekweg and many others who were able to greet him on the other side.
