Obituary

Gary Lee Brinkmeyer passed away on July 7, 2025, after a long illness.

He was born on March 3, 1940 in Los Angeles, California. He spent 30 years working for BP in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, as a Waste Water management Operator and Supervisor. In 1958 Gary married Mary Small in a small town located in Montana. They went on to have three sons, Edward (Carol), Micheal (Carmel), and Patrick.

In 1999 Gary retired and spent his time traveling with his wife Mary. They traveled by boat throughout the Puget Sound area and later traveled to Europe and Australia. Gary enjoyed traveling to new places, experiencing new adventures and meeting new people.

Gary was active in the Roy Elks for many years he served as a Trustee then State Trustee and Secretary of the Roy Elks Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents Collis and Ruby Brinkmeyer.

He is survived by his wife Mary, three sons, five grandchildren and his sister Sharon.

Services will be held at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836th Street, Ogden, UT on Tuesday, July 15, at 10 am.
