Gary Grant Myers Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Gary Grant Myers passed away after a courageous battle of pneumonia and Alzheimers disease. Gary died October 5, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Gary was the middle child born to Grant Myers and Blanche Sorensen Myers on January 26th in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Ogden High School and went to work for the Railroad. Gary also worked at Jetway; retiring form Hill Air Force Base after 30 years of service. On October 2, 1968, Gary married the love of his life, Mary Thomson in The First Presbyterian Church. They have two sons, Michael Glenn and Thomas Gary. Gary loved to hunt, fish, camp and spend time with his amazing grandchildren and family. He also was a talented mechanic, electrician, plumber and builder. You name it, Gary could do it. He especially loved his four grandchildren, Colten, Clayton, Lindy and Kaylee. Grandpa had a special bond with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Mary, Michael (Julie), Tom, two grandsons and two granddaughters, Colten, and Claytons mother Teresa. Gary is also survived by his brothers, Robert (Judy), Kent (Terry), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Family will meet friends Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 6 - 8 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836-36th Street, Ogden, UT. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park. Per Garys request casual dress, please.
