Obituary

Gary VanderStappen passed away peacefully at home on 11/28/2022 he was born in Holland on Sept.13, 1949. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth VanderStappen, his brothers, Leo VanderStappen, and Johnny VanderStappen. His sons: Brandon VanderStappen, Aaron (Sabrina) VanderStappen and Shane (Sandi) Williams. His Daughters: Tarah (Jon) Novotny, Dawn (Kevin) Stevens, Marcy (Wade) O'Neal, Veronica (Ryan) Harding, Janice McGaha, and many Grandkids and Great Grandkids. He is preceded in death by his father Jan VanderStappen, and wife Kathy (Rallison) VanderStappen. Gary loved his Family, his dogs, and his cars. He was proud of his sons and daughters, and especially loved his dog, Missy. Gary was hard working and took pride in cleaning his cars and keeping his yard in tip top shape, including the gutters. He was also a proud American and loved all things symbolic: American flags, Bald Eagles, Military, and Muscle cars. Gary served in the Army in 1969 and was stationed in Alaska and Honorably discharged in 1974. Gary worked at WR White Pipe for many years before moving on to Hill Air Force Base as an Aircraft Painter to round out his retirement. His sense of humor will be missed, but he has left many memories behind. His family will love and cherish him always and will definitely be Missed. Garys Celebration of Life will be on Sat Dec 3rd at the VFW in Ogden 907 W 12th St, Ogden UT from 2-4 pm.
