Gene Neuenschwander, 87, passed away June 13, 2016 surrounded by her family. Gene was born December 3, 1928 to Harold B. and Gladys Crompton in Ogden, UT. Gene graduated from Ogden High School where she served as vice president of her class. She married Clarence Junior (Swanee) Neuenschwander. Grandma Gene dedicated her life to her family. She had many talents including party planner extraordinaire. She was a wonderful example of kindness, loyalty and love. Gene is survived by six children: Anne (Jim) Morgan, Sue (Jack) Hoffman, Jill (Greg) May, Jodi (Mark) Law, Kirk Neuenschwander, and Eric (Heidi) Neuenschwander; 20 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. Gene is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Junior Neuenschwander; her parents, Harold and Gladys Crompton; and two sisters, Madge Barton and Ann Ramsey. Memorial Services will be held Monday, June 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St., Ogden, UT. Interment at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
