Dad was born in a log cabin in Morgan, Utah on August 23, 1921 to Elizabeth Spendlove and Acy Welsh. He married Josephine Britton on August 12, 1946. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Gerald retired from Tooele Army Depot, and wasa long time member in the LDS church and held many positions. He was a good husband and dad and loved by many. Gerald is survived by his wife of 68 years, Josephine Welsh; children: Susan Ellis (Dean), Dan (Roni) Welsh, Randy (Lisa) Welsh, Anna Burbank (Mike), David (Rebecca) Welsh, Tim (Kari) Welsh; 17 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Gary Joel Welsh. Graveside Services will be held Friday, June 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
