They were married for 68 years until he passed away in 2012. Her legacy will live on with her family. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara (James) Taylor of Ogden, Allyn (Gary) Barclay of Elizabeth, Colorado and Joan Pansier of Crivitz, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Heidi (Chris) Aggeler of Denver, Colorado, Travis (Vivian) Taylor of Providence, Utah, Heather (Ever) Morales of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Gladys was an avid golfer and downhill skier and was active in both until well into her 70s. She was an accomplished pianist who also taught piano for many years. While at the University of Utah, she played with the University of Utah Symphony and sang in the Pi Beta Phi Quartet. She was also an organist for the First Presbyterian Church. She was active for many years in the Junior League of Ogden, PEO, the Sempra Music Group, and the Assistance League of Denver. She also volunteered as a docent for the Denver Art Museum, and was a member of the Cherry Hills Ladies Association. Gladys took many trips throughout the United States, including Hawaii, the Caribbean, England, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Morocco and Egypt. "Life isnt measure by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away." Gladys was blessed with many of these moments in her life, and the beautiful memories of her will live on in our hearts forever. Her family would like to thank Treeo Senior Living of South Ogden, the Rocky Mountain Personal Care and Rocky Mountain Hospice for providing such compassionate care for her. Pursuant to her wishes, there will be no funeral. A family memorial service and celebration of life will occur in 2022.
