Gladys Lorraine Parke's Obituary

Gladys L. Parke, our beloved mother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 11, 2018 of natural causes. Gladys was born in Sully County, S.D. to Fern and Lloyd Welch.She married Lawrence Wehrle and the two of them made Ogden their home.They were divorced, and she later married Don Parke. Gladys was a private pilot, she loved to travel, and crochet.She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Ogden and a member of the B.P.O.E. Lady of Elks of Roy. She is survived by her son Ron (Gaylene) Wehrle of Clinton, UT, her daughters Susan Harper of Salt Lake City, UT, and Karen (Cory) Sutherland of Eden Prairie, MN, step daughter Mary Ogan of Salt Lake City, UT; brother Robert Welch of Wilmington, MA; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Don Parke, son Robert Wehrle, and stepson Steven Parke.
