"Forever Together"
Glen James Judd, 97, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at home nine days after his beloved sweetheart.
He was born December 14, 1916, in Wanship, Utah, to Frank Melvin Judd and Sarah Edna Vernon. He graduated from North Summit High school in 1934.
Glen married Lynette Sargent, November 3, 1942. They shared over 71 wonderful years together.
He owned and operated G & L Feeds and Trucking, he worked in management for Hi-Land Dairy, and life insurance underwriting for Security National.
Glen was a faithful, active missionary-member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served in bishoprics and as a bishop, and a temple worker for many years, and was a master teacher. Glen served four missions; one to the East Central States and three with his sweetheart - two in Michigan and one in the inner city of Ogden. HIs parting words to everyone were "Our love and prayers are with you."
Glen was Mr. Fix It! He could fix anything with anything in his tool bucket. He believed a meal was not complete without chocolate ("CA") and dessert.
He is survived by children: Carol (Jose) Valdez, Sue Ann Judd, Terry (Carlyle) Shaw, Kerry (Christene) Judd, Nadine (Kelly) McGarry, and daughter-in-law Jill Judd; 28 grandchildren, 86 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Glen was preceded in death by his wife Lynette, his son James R. Judd, and one great-great-grandchild Isaac William.
The family thanks Dr. Gary Christensen, Debby, Shelly, and Sandy from Horizons Hospice Specialists for their loving care of Dad.
