Glenna J. Osborne age 67, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday January 28th, 2012. She was born on May 3, 1944 to LeRoy B. and Velma K. Johnson in Ogden Utah. Glenna graduated from Bonneville High School and attended Weber State College. She married Gordon S. Osborne in the Logan LDS temple on March 17th, 1967. Glenna was a long-time member of the Roy 16th ward and faithfully served in several positions in primary, young womens, and scouting. She especially enjoyed camping trips, scouting, family gatherings, singing in the choir, crocheting and sewing. Glenna worked for many years as a seamstress prior to starting a family. Glenna always had a smile for everyone she met and was a good friend to many. She was a great role model and endured many hardships and health problems with humor and grace. Glenna is survived by her sisters: LaRhea, Beverly, Janice, and Loraine; her husband Gordon; two children Kenneth and Tineke; and three grandsons, Jaden, Phaedrus and Daxton. She is preceded in death by both parents and one brother, LaMar. The family wishes to express gratitude for the compassionate and loving services provided by her team of nurses, volunteers and social workers at CNS hospice. Funeral services will be held at Leavitts mortuary 836 36th Street in Ogden, Utah on Thursday February 2, 2012 at 2pm. Viewing will be held 1 hour prior to services. Family dinner will be held after internment at the Roy 16th ward 4524 South 2525 West. Services under the direction of Leavitts Mortuary.
