Gloria May returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family and husband. Gloria was born in Whangarei, New Zealand on May 17, 1939 to Frederick and Laurel Lewis. She married William Ashdown on May 26, 1956 in Auckland, New Zealand. They were later sealed in the New Zealand LDS Temple in 1964. Gloria was an elect lady she held may positions in her beloved Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was an example to all who knew her, including her family. Gloria is survived by her spouse, William Ashdown; daughters, Dawn, Laurel and Dannette; sons, Bruce, Michael and Tony; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Washington Terrace 6th Ward Building, 4700 South 200 East, Washington Terrace, Utah. Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Interment at Leavitts Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
