Gloria Jeanne Rosen CohnThe greatest love story ever told started on December 25, 1931 when Gloria Jeanne Rosen was born to Evelyn and Arthur Rosen in Oxnard, California. She was raised in San Francisco, California. She married the love of her life, Harry Burton Cohn at Fort Ord. California on June 24, 1951. Together, they have three daughters: Marla (David) Avner, North Ogden, Jeri (David) Ashworth, Ogden, Lynn (Martin) Colijn, Salinas, California, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and two more on the way. What a legacy!Gloria had many talents and many people who loved her. She is a Past Worthy Matron of Miriam Chapter 14 Order of Eastern Star. She was an exceptional seamstress and met many people sharing her talent for over 50 years. A strong and valiant woman, she endured many years of poor health but never let that keep her from living life to the fullest. She left this earthly life to fly with the angels and probably sew some new wings or hem or repair others on May 16, 2012.A Celebration of Glorias life will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church, 1339 West 400 North, Harrisville.
