Gloria Jean McFarland passed away on September 26, 2024, in Ogden, UT. She was the eldest child of Bruce and Afton Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray McFarland. She is survived by two brothers, Douglas and Keith and three sisters, Bonnie, Patti and Wendy. She is also survived by a son, Anthony, a daughter, Marilyn; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Gloria Jean was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints throughout her life and loved singing the hymns and leading the music. She loved all kinds of art, but especially loved drawing and coloring. She also loved spending time chatting with friends and family.

There will be a private interment at Leavitt's Mortuary on October 19th. This will be followed by a memorial and celebration of life at noon at the Leavitt's Reception Atrium. Flowers and condolences can be sent to Leavitt's Mortuary.
