Del Yarbrough, 69, returned home January 8, 2016 at Crestwood Care Center. She was born December 4, 1946 to Martha Ellen Earnest and Wallace Hooper Borders in Langdale, Alabama. Del graduated from Wadley High School. She married Virgil Yarbrough on March 10, 1968. Del was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She devoted her life to her family and serving in the LDS church. Through her years as an Air Force wife, she made dear friends in Florida, South Carolina, England and Utah. Later, her years in Crestwood Care Center added even more friends to her collection. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Del was known for her loving sweetness, cooking (especially fried chicken), and her love of the Alabama football team Roll Tide!. Through all the places she lived and loved in, Alabama was always Home. The family wishes to thank all who have shown love and friendship to Del, and the staff (angels) of Crestwood Care Center and Hospice for their kind and constant love and service. Del is survived by her children: Matthew (April), Laura (James) Johnston, Jason, Joshua, Daniel, Amanda, Mark (Crystal), and 14 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836-36th St., Ogden, UT. A viewing will be held from 10:45 11:45 am prior to the Funeral Serivice. A graveside service and interment will be at The Utah Veterans Memorial Park, in Bluffdale, Utah, at 3:00 pm.
