Age 88, of Ogden passed away in her sleep at a Boise, Idaho care facility on December 30, 2014. Grace was born January 19, 1926 in Memphis, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd George Norseth, whom she met while he was still in the U. S. Navy following WWII at a USO club in Memphis. They were married in Hernando, Mississippi, and then moved to Ogden following his discharge from the service in December of 1945.
Grace and Lloyd are survived by three children, Craig (Wendy), of St. George; Sandra (Marc) Andrews, of Ludowici, Georgia; and Brett (Monique), of Boise, Idaho. They have eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Grace was employed as a clerk at Hill Air Force Base until the birth of her children. Later she returned to work as a clerk for the Internal Revenue Service in Ogden for several years.
She was a gentle soul, a kind, understanding, loving mother and wife. Bitten by the golfing bug late in life, she and Lloyd enjoyed golfing and visits from children and grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at the Spring Creek Memory Care for their concern for Grace while she was a resident.
