Guy Clair Sidwell, 66, passed away December 23, 2019. Guy Sidwell was born August 16, 1953 to Clair Eugene Sidwell and Cleo Ray Stone in Ogden, Utah. Guy graduated from Ben Lomond High School. He married Anne Yvonne Norman on April 2, 1982 and later divorced. He then married Karen L. Sweat on February 13, 1993 and later divorced. Our father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed away at his home in Kaysville, Utah. Guy was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and spent many Sundays watching football. He attended Stevens Henager College and obtained his Associates Degree in Accounting. Guy frequented North Park Four Square Church of Roy, Utah and enjoyed spiritual worship. Guy retired from the VA hospital in Salt Lake City where he worked in housekeeping the majority of his career. Guy was a veteran of the US Navy. Guys hobbies were photography, fishing, drums, and being outdoors. Guy enjoyed spending time with family and especially enjoyed his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed. Guy Sidwell is survived by his two sons Steven (Valerie) Sidwell and Bret (Keely) Sidwell; three sisters Kay Stephens, Kristy Olsen, Karen (Rich) Riddle; four grandchildren Nathaniel, Nolan, Jayden, Zayden; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 6:00 8:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th St., Ogden, UT 84403, Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Leavitts Mortuary with a viewing from 10:00 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral. Interment at Ogden City Cemetery.
