Obituary

Our father, Harold John Kay, returned to his Heavenly Father on August 31, 2017. He was delivered at home by a midwife, in Tremonton, Utah on March 20, 1928, to Loren and Zina (Cooke) Kay. He married Elsie Bray (deceased) on August 18, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah and fathered six children: Elsie LaRue (Denis M. deceased) James, Garalee (Jerry R.) Christensen, Harold Val (Mary A. Gunter) Kay, "Bobie" Barbara D. (Dennis M. Donahoe), Leonard J. Kay and Melanie J. Kay. He had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Harold was the 5th child out of 14; he was preceded in death by his wife, mother, father, some brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and a son-in-law. With seven siblings still living. He accomplished many things in his long life. He was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Graveside services will be held at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah, 84403, on September 8, 2017, at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life Potluck for family members and friends will be held at 1:00 pm at Clearfield 3rd Ward, 350 North Vine Street, Clearfield, Utah, 84015. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity. Arrangements entrusted to Leavitts Mortuary.
