Hazel Emmalene Bartlett, 71, went to be with Jesus on October 16, 2016. She was born June 28, 1945 to Ralph Bartlett and Francis Huffman in Springfield, Illinois. Hazel married Thurman McCloud and together they raised six children they were later divorced. Hazel later married and added another child to her six. Hazels greatest joy was her love for the Lord first and her love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her greatest accomplishment was the love she has for her family. There is no greater legacy to pass on than the legacy of love she passed down. Hazel is survived by her seven children: Jeff McCloud, Drenda (Glenn) Thompson, Karen (John) Church, Mary (Doug) Kuck, Lora (Jeff) Gasca, Tara (Mike) Boling and Dawn S. McCloud; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. (2 Corinthians 5:6) To be absent from the body is to be present with Christ. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden Utah. Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 2:45 to 3:45 pm.
