Mrs. Helen G. Hartmann, 91 years young of Ogden, passed away on March 9, 2016, in Yuma, AZ after a short illness. She was born in Hayden, CO to John and Rachel Gurr on December 5, 1924. She grew up in Parowan, UT and later moved to Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. She married Robert (Bob) G. Hartmann on September 1, 1951 in Ogden. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was adored by many. Mom was a courageous and brave woman that survived two battles with cancer. She was a member of the LDS Church. She participated in the BPO Elks 719, Women Auxiliary Does. She was a fashion forward woman and always dressed to the nines! She was an avid basketball fan of the Utah Jazz. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Bob Hartmann; brother Keith A Gurr; and sister-in-law, Dolores Gurr. She is survived by two sons and three daughters: Dennis (Carol) Hartmann, LuRae (Kenneth) Wilson, Shauna (Robert) Prince, Rodney (Julie) Hartmann, and Geneal (Doug) Fox; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great, great-grandchild on the way. Special thanks to Lisa Henrie for all her friendship and love. Lisa adored and loved mother like her own. The family would like a special thank you to her daughter LuRae and son-in-law Kenneth Wilson for all the many years of their loving care of our mom. The family would like to thank the Yuma Hospital, Rehab Center and Life Care Center for their kind, caring services. Thank you also to the extended family and friends of Yuma.
