Helma E. McLeod, 81 passed away May 6, 2016 at her sons home in Rush Valley, Utah after a long battle with Alzheimers Disease. Helma was born December 5, 1934 to George Groesch and Agnes Kuhn in Wurzburg, Germany. Helma married Donald L. Ith in 1955. He later passed away. She then married William McLeod in 1980. Helma worked as a file clerk at Guardian Title in Salt Lake City, Utah. Some of her hobbies included, cooking, knitting, traveling with Germany being her favorite place to visit, and spending time with her family. Helma is survived by her son, Kent (Kathy) Ith; sister, Thea; brothers, Werner and Manfred; daughter-in-law, Marketa (Glen); grandchildren, Ashley, Kenna and Izabelle; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Ith and William McLeod; son, Glen and sister, Wiltrud. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Saint Josephs Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
