Henrietta "Net" HessWhat an incredible gathering that occurred on October 22, 2011, when Mother was greeted by her Mother and Father (he passed away three weeks after she was born) and also eight brothers and sisters, known as the "Family Nine" her husband, two sons, and a grandson.Mother was born to wonderful parents, Henry Hyde and Mary Jane Bowden Hyde, in Fairview, Idaho, on January 16, 1914. Raised in Fairview she moved to Brigham City as a teenager where she met and married Tracy R Hess in Preston, Idaho, on September 22, 1930. They were later sealed in the Ogden Temple. Tracy passed away in August 1983. As a member of the LDS church she held many positions. Henriettas blessings from heaven were her two sons, Tracy Scott, Shirl B. and daughter Linda Gene.Henriettas favorite saying is, "You are not old until to reach 100" of which she came up a little short. "Take care of yourselves and LOVE and be GOOD to one another."Surviving are her daughter Linda Hess Beus (Keith), sons Shirl B. (deceased) Beverly, Tracy Scott (deceased) Patricia Hess Patterson, and special granddaughter Barbara Hess (Kelly). Mother has 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, at 11:00 a.m. A viewing for friends and family will be held one hour prior to services also at the mortuary. Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please feel free to make a contribution to the Cancer Fund in the name of Travis H. Beus, her grandson who came to greet her and take her home.
