Isabel Anguiano's Obituary

Isabel "Chavela" Pina Anguiano, 80, passed away at home on July 18, 2018. Isabel was born October 05, 1937, to Matias Pina and Jane Remigio in Dodge City, Kansas. She worked at Weber Basin Health Planning Counsel for Community Action Program, Planned Parenthood Association of Utah, also in the Cannerys and Poultrys. She also worked in the fields picking tomatoes and onions until she found her career at the Weber County Sheriffs Dept. where she served for 30 years. She was a dedicated member of the Christian Worship Center. I would like to give a special thanks to our guiding angel, Mary Hunt for helping us in the most difficult time of our lives. Isabel is survived by her five children, Mary Bracamonte, James (Angela) Ruiz Jr., Jesse (Rene Meza) Ruiz, Daniel Anguiano, and Leticia (Aurelio) Ponce; 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Marie Eve Ruiz; son, Matthew Ruiz; and aunt, Frances Zisumbo. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 23, 2018, at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services from 12:30 1:30 pm. Interment at Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park.
