Dr. Jack Earl Stagg, born in Salt Lake City on February 28, 1923 to James and Florence Stagg passed away on August 8, 2012.He served 4 years in the U.S. Army in the China Burma India Theater. Jack married Reba VeLoy Healy "Vickie" on August 9, 1947. He graduated from the Chicago School of Podiatry and Surgery in 1952 and practiced in Ogden for 45 years.Jack and Vickie were members of the Wolf Creek Country Club for many years. He is survived by his daughter, Jan, sons: Jeff and Kelly (Dorothy Ann), 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons, his sister Lois Hodgson and numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and his wife Vickie. The family wishes to thank the staff of Peachtree Assisted Living for the extraordinary care given to Jack. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Leavitts Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Family will greet friends prior to services from 12:45 ~ 1:45 p.m. Private crypt side services will be held at a later date.
