A candle was lit in memory of Jack Thompson

Jack and I had some wild times, memorable times. Alot of talk about the future but life just got in the way. I loved his quick wit. We used to take dinning room table outside and play cards sometimes until 4 in the morning. Those were good times. You will be missed my friend.

One of the things I will always remember most about Jack is we would be driving somewhere and Jack would say, "I bet that hurts" and we (me and my brother Randy) would say "what?". Then, he'd grab the top of our knee (sometimes mine, sometimes Randy's, depending on which one said "what?") and squeeze as hard as he could. And, even though we always knew what was going to happen and, we knew it was going to hurt like heck, no matter how many times he said it, if he said, "I bet that hurts", one of us would always say "what?". I will miss you...Jack.
